What to expect

Before starting, you’ll have a thorough consultation and patch test to assess your skin and hair type. During treatment:

  • The area is cleansed and prepped
  • A cooling gel may be applied
  • The laser handpiece is passed over the treatment area in pulses

Most people describe the sensation as a quick snap or flick; mild and well-tolerated. After treatment, the skin may feel warm and slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn. A cooling gel and aftercare instructions will be provided.

Most clients need between 6–10 sessions for best results, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions may be needed once or twice a year after the initial course.

Yes – shaving is fine and even recommended. Avoid waxing, plucking, or threading between sessions as these interfere with the laser process.

You may feel a mild snapping sensation, like a rubber band flick. Most clients find it tolerable. Areas with thicker hair may feel slightly more sensitive.

No downtime – but you may experience slight redness or warmth for a few hours. You can resume most normal activities immediately after treatment.

Laser is not recommended during pregnancy. Please let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and we’ll suggest alternative options like waxing or electrolysis.
